On Thursday 30 July, The Truly Loving Company (TLC) brought cheers to Hospis Malaysia at its premises in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur . In addition to its payout of RM10,000 as part of its corporate mission to donate 100% of its dividends to its Charity Partners, TLC partnered with Malaysia 's most established and premier salon, A Cut Above, to conduct a hairstyle makeover for the patients of Hospis Malaysia . Ms Winnie Loo, Founder and Senior Creative Director of A Cut Above Group of Salons and Academy, together with her professional team of hair stylists brought much excitement and joy as they creatively snipped their way through the queue of eager patients.
Julia Chong, Founder and CEO of TLC, explained that the payout was part of TLC's long term mission and commitment in supporting its Charity Partners. "As Hospis Malaysia is one of TLC's 5 Charity Partners, we wanted to strengthen our relationship with them by working on joint events that benefit them directly. In this event, we would like to thank Ms Winnie Loo for her generosity and participation in mobilizing her team in supporting us and Hospis Malaysia ". Julia added that this is TLC's second payout to Hospis Malaysia and it would not have been possible without the support of loyal consumers who have made the TLC brand of household and personal care products a part of their daily lives.
Dr Ednin Hamzah, CEO, Medical Director of Hospis Malaysia welcomed the payout and joint participation of TLC and A Cut Above. "The money will be of great use for the building extension that we are currently going through". He added that the hairstyle makeover brought a new smile to Hospis Malaysia 's patients.
