Being disadvantaged in life does not stop one from achieving dreams if The Truly Loving Company (TLC) has something to do about it. On 12 th August 2009, in conjunction with it's second donation of RM10,000 to Rumah Aman, TLC conducted a "football clinic" together with former soccer champion and FAM Licensed Coach , Mohd Khasim Kasi b. Abdullah, for the children of Rumah Aman.

Rumah Aman, an orphanage for boys in Shah Alam founded by Abdul Rehman Dakri and his wife Mehrunessa Dakri seeks to provide the best environment for the boys by focusing on giving them a good education, so that they become successful individuals and leaders

Budding footballers.

For the orphans and boys from poor families, it could be the start of realising their dreams of becoming national football players. 17 of the boys, aged 10-11 years will experience the thrill of real soccer and be coached over a series of 6 weeks. The clinic will commence with ball control and the finer points on the rules and regulations of the game will be introduced over the next 5 sessions.

"We hope this will ignite the spark in them and under Khasim's able guidance, perhaps they will become Malaysian football champions one day" added Julia Chong, Founder and CEO of The Truly Loving Company. She added that TLC's logo, as seen on its products sold in all hypermarkets and major retail outlets, have a star perched above its house logo. She explained that it was about providing hope and helping the less fortunate to reach for their stars in their own world. "Given the right potential and opportunities, anyone can excel in whatever they want to be and become a star"

"The children are excited and eagerly looking forward to having a national football coach take them through the paces. In fact this is the first time that they go through such training", says Abdul Rehman Dakri. He added that aside from gaining knowledge on playing a proper game, the football clinic will teach them life values of teamwork and fair play.
