I have recently had the pleasure of meeting a very interesting and dynamic lady, Julia Chong, who has decided that she has reached a time in her life when she is able to contribute significantly to charitable causes. Her approach I think is unique. Instead of working on fundraising activities for the charities, she has decided to use her 30 years business experience in consumer goods to set up a new corporation where the profits will be distributed through dividends to designated charities.

I hope you enjoy reading her idea but perhaps even more importantly, I hope that you support what she is doing by buying the products. It doesn't cost you anything extra in time or money. They are very price competitive and of excellent quality. I have tested all the products and thoroughly recommend them. I have no hesitation in giving thumbs up for the complete range! Please read on.

Imagine a world where simple everyday teaks like taking a shower, washing your hands or cleaning your dishes could make a big difference to an orphan or an abused or abandoned child. Imagine being able to help the disabled, the disadvantaged and those in need in society, but without having to make any donation or sacrifice.

This unique concept that started out as a dream and later became a vision is now a reality, thanks to the passion and dedication of a truly remarkable individual, Julia Chong, founder and chief executive officer of The Truly Loving Company Sd. Bhd. or TLC.

"I have nurtured the concept behind TLC since I was in my mid 30's and refined it as I progressed in my career" she explains, referring to a career that, amongst others, include her appointment as Deputy Chairman and Board Member of the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce; Managing Director of Reckitt Benckiser Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and IndoChina; General Manager (marketing) of Unza Malaysia; Executive Director of Hexza Mather and Marketing Director of Warner Lambert Malaysia.

She recalls how her late husband would spend every Sunday taking food and helping out at a nearby orphanage. This, he said, was his way to giving back to the community. One Christmas, he suggested to Julia and their two children, Jonathan and Victoria, that the whole family share their turkey dinner with the orphans at the orphanage and Julia agreed. During the meal, she noticed how uncomfortable her two children, Jonathan and Victoria, felt eating from a metal plate with a plastic fork and spoon and drinking from plastic cup.
